Since when do I like superheroes? Let alone draw them? 9_9;
It's my brother's birthday today, and since I had no idea what else to draw him I picked his favourite female out of X-Men (I'm obsessed with them now >_>; ), which happens to be Rogue, and used the X-Men Evolution version of her because that rendition is much easier to anime-ify than the comic book ones would be (for me, at least), and I like the Evolution versions of most of the characters the best (Nightcrawler! :3). I like how it came out for the most part, but I screwed up the green chest part of her outfit; because they colour the underside of it so darkly I thought the green only extended halfway down her chest, but it actually encompasses all of it and around to her back. Ah, well... And it's a little difficult to see, but I wrote names on the gifts saying who they were from. XD One is "Logan" (Wolverine), one is "Jean & Scott" (Marvel Girl and Cyclops—c'mon, the girl always gets the gift and attaches her guy's name to make him look good 9_9), and the other is "Ororo" (Storm).
I was supposed to upload the coloured version of my 2008 to-do list next, but I finished this sooner. :/
I've become totally obsessed with X-Men lately. XD Except I would never be able to read the comic books. I've been reading a ton of information on Wikipedia about it, and it's so COMPLICATED. It makes my head hurt. XD And it's all very action-y and yeah. I'll stick to manga. :3 It doesn't go up to volume 300-something... unless it's Naruto... -_- Ahem. Thank you! I hope I'm getting better at it; it's annoying. XD
